In order to trade at The Candor Market, products need to fit the following criteria:

  • We don’t accept vendors who sell wholesale or imported products.

  • We value handmade, ethical production methods, focusing on small-batch, thoughtful design.

  • We prioritise natural or up-cycled materials, as well as sustainable packaging.

  • We require full transparency around materials used, and their origin. We look for the base of your products to be as natural and non-toxic as possible.

  • At TCM, we encourage the use of closed-loop systems to minimize waste. For example the ‘make, use, recycle, repeat’ cycle vs. a linear product lifecycle which would result in the product ending up in the bin!

  • Social media is the virtual hub of The Candor Market. All vendors need to have an active, dedicated space for keeping customers up-to-date and informed.

  • We don’t allow business owners to occupy more than one stall per market. There is a limit of one brand per stall - we don’t allow stalls to be split by two or more brands.

We understand that creating a 100% circular and sustainable business is not always realistic, however we encourage all prospective vendors to reflect on these points carefully before applying.
